Content Body

Executives from Cobham, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Rockwell Collins, Saab and Thales are establishing an ethics strategy on the basis of existing European and U.S. regimes and have agreed to lobby the next U.S. Administration. The executives want to improve international business ethics in aerospace, export-control systems, shared technology “among friends and allies,” open and free markets, and the industry’s environmental impact and have agreed to talk each year, starting with an October environmental summit in Paris alongside the Industries Association of Europe annual conference. Airspace modernization programs and the intra-European Union transfer initiative were also discussed.
