Content Body

Israeli electro-optics and security solutions specialist Controp Precision Technologies is highlighting its A-DSMS integrated maritime surveillance solution at the Singapore show (Stand Q30). The system has been installed on several fixed- and rotary-wing types, offering cost-effective surveillance for maritime patrol, search and rescue, firefighting, EEZ protection, border surveillance and other missions.

A-DSMS is an integrated solution with a range of options from Controp’s portfolio of gyro-stabilized electro-optical/infrared sensors, including a high-definition daytime camera. The system incorporates an operator station with display monitor, control unit, mission computer, moving map and a video downlink.

Among the sensors on offer are new versions of the iSky-50HD airborne EO/IR payload and the corresponding iSea-50HD for maritime use. The sensors now include three channels, comprising continuous zoom HD day TV and thermal channels, and a short-wave infrared (SWIR) spotter. SWIR improves surveillance in adverse visibility conditions, notably at twilight and in fog and haze.

Both iSea and iSky camera payloads can easily be interfaced with radars and other mission systems to permit cross-cueing of sensors. The payloads have a built-in inertial navigation system, gyro-stabilization, automatic video tracker and real-time image enhancements. An eye-safe laser rangefinder and laser pointer are offered as options.
