Content Body

U.S. defense giant Lockheed Martin has signed a memorandum of understanding with Japanese IT company Fujitsu to jointly accelerate the development of dual-use solutions across a number of critical areas. The partnership builds on a May 2025 agreement under which Fujitsu supplies the sub-array suite power supply line replaceable unit for Lockheed Martin’s SPY-7 air and missile defense radar.

Areas of interest include quantum computing, edge computing that is enabled by advanced sensing and real-time data fusion, artificial intelligence and machine learning, advanced microelectronics, and multi-domain next-generation networks. The team leverages LM’s integrated systems expertise and Fujitsu’s advanced technologies and commercial scale.
