Brazil Certifies Soloy LTS101 Conversion

Soloy Aviation Solutions said it received approval from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency for its Honeywell engine conversion for Eurocopter AS 350BA and B2 helicopters. “This approval opens the way for Brazillian operators to have the same engine options for these popular helicopters as currently enjoyed by our many existing customers,” said David Stouffer, Soloy’s CEO. Previous STC approval had been obtained from the FAA. In the last 24 months the Olympia, Wash. company has supplied more than 75 SD1 (BA) and SD2 (B2) kits in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Here at Heli-Expo, the company’s booth (No. 713) features a re-engined LTS101-600-A-3A-powered AS 350BA.
