EU and China Cooperate on GA Education

The EU-China Civil Aviation Project (EUCCAP) held a two-week workshop in Beijing and Zhuhai to introduce Chinese aviation regulators and industry personnel to the European general aviation sector. The workshop introduced Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) managers, affiliated companies and general aviation operators to economic regulation, airports, air traffic management, safety, maintenance and aircraft and helicopter operations topics. According to EUCCAP, “It is expected that through the workshop, the CAAC could draw lessons from the EU experience for a better and faster development of its existing practices, regulations and business models.”
