The American Helicopter Society (AHS) International's 73rd Annual Forum & Technology Display will take place from May 9to 11 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The event will feature a keynote presentation by Lt. Gen. Jon Davis and more than 275 guest speakers, as leaders in the aviation industry as well as forum visitors gather to examine the future of vertical flight.

More than 1,100 visitors are expected for this year’s annual forum. According to AHS International, 44 percent of those attending will be engineers and technology professionals while 32 percent will be management and administration professionals. There will be a CEO panel with representatives from major helicopter manufacturers and suppliers. Meanwhile, U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps program managers will be on site.

Technical sessions will be held every day of the forum and will cover avionics, aerodynamics, aircraft design, technology, manufacturing and more. One of the special sessions will cover advanced VTOL air vehicle designs such as the Bell Helicopter V-280 Valor and Sikorsky-Boeing SB-1.

Visitors will also be able to take tours of Airbus Helicopters and Safran Helicopter Engines in Grand Prairie, Texas on May 12, the day after the forum. A shuttle will run from Sheraton Fort Worth to Grand Prairie and return mid-day.
