Airbus Helicopters (Booth Z58) is highlighting here at EBACE the rollout earlier this month of the 700th H130 light single-engine helicopter. Since the EC130 entered service in 2001, the H130 fleet has accumulated more than 1.8 million flight hours with 340 operators worldwide. Offering the lowest operating cost per passenger in its class, the helicocpters are popular for passenger transport as well as EMS and other utility missions. The latest version of the H130 was certified in 2012, and since the beginning of this year, all new models are equipped with an Airbus Helicopters Helionix glass panel cockpit.
