Advanced Torque Products (ATP, Booth C2738) announced its Airbus Helicopters EC145 mast nut tool kit, ATP 760, is now available. The Connecticut-based company worked with maintenance professionals in the Airbus training facility to create a kit that addressed former maintenance issues.
Previously, maintenance professionals had issues working on the EC145 with heavy tooling while upside-down with limited visibility through the reaction stand. Stability and alignment could be lost because the tooling lacked a mechanism to lock the tool in place.
The ATP 760 was created to address these issues. The tool kit reduces application time and increases accuracy to within +/-1 percent and reduced maintenance professionals’ fatigue from holding the tool in place.
