Rotorlift Aviation (Booth C6651) has seen significant improvements in its helicopter fleet engine health after changing to Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 five years ago. The Tasmania-based company has discovered that engines using Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 burn cleaner, which can decrease overall operation costs.
Gary Meiklejohn, Rotorlift Aviation’s chief engineer, spearheaded the company’s transition to Eastman Turbo Oil. According to the company, Meiklejohn re-evaluated Rotorlift’s oil selection and converted the fleet to Eastman Turbo Oil 2197. This includes an Airbus Helicopters EC130, two BK177s, and two AS355s, as well as two Bell 206 Jet Rangers and two Bell 222s.
“When you receive OEM recommendations for an oil conversion, the decision to switch is simple,” said Meiklejohn. “I am very with the performance of Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 in our aircraft.”
