Survitec (Booth C1724) is unveiling a new life jacket and passenger suit this week at Heli-Expo. The Hybrid Ability Lifejacket and Oxygen (Halo) is the company’s next-generation Mk 5/51 product, and the Gen2 1000 series passenger suit holds ETSO, MED, and CE-PPE approvals. Both are on display, along with Survitec’s 1000 series aircrew suit, the Arctic Suit, and the Mk16 and Smart coveralls.
The Halo life jacket is designed for both crew and passenger use and follows requirements from the aviation, wind energy, and marine sectors. It features pockets, a lightweight emergency breathing system, and a design that follows the contours of the body.
The Gen2 1000 series passenger suit is designed for those who travel to their platforms by air and sea. It is waterproof, yet breathable, and designed with low flammability. The suit has watertight seals at the neck and wrists, as well as reinforced materials in the knee, seat and elbow areas.
