Content Body

Japan’s Sensyn Robotics has added a “tower scan” function to its Flight Core drone automatic navigation platform that makes it possible to automatically navigate tower-like structures. The function simplifies setup of flight routes needed for the inspection of communication towers, chimneys, and other vertical structures. Features include a pre-flight function that checks the automatic navigation route prior to flight and the ability to setup inspection flight routes by entering the longitude/latitude, height and radius of the structures. Flight Core is designed to simplify drone flight operations to enable drone flights by operators with minimal training.

In September, Sensyn announced a strategic partnership with Aeronext  to turn industrial drones into the next-generation flying robots by combining Flight Core with Aeronext’s 4D Gravity center of gravity control. 4D Gravity allows drones to maintain flight stability while equipped with multiple payloads mounted on various drone surfaces. Enhancing flight stability improves energy efficiency and increases range.
