Content Body

Mente Group (Booth 3577) sister company Four Corners Aviation has expanded its fleet to 14 aircraft serving more than 100 clients. The aircraft range in size from a Dassault Falcon 7X to the Bombardier Learjet 45 and are supported by 40 flight crewmembers.

Four Corners offers a variety of what it calls “Corporate Jets as a Service” solutions, including aircraft acquisition, sales, and management; jet cards; and charter. Its “Inside Card” fee-based program, based on the amount of a customer’s flight activity, guides clients on what solution—managed fleet, fractional, membership, or charter—is appropriate for each individual mission, whether that be with a competitor or its own fleet.

Its Charter Card is like a jet card, where a solution would default first to Four Corners’ own fleet. “We don’t give a guaranteed fixed rate, but we do give options on our own managed fleet when available or outside to our partner providers with whom we have preferred rates, showing customers three options with planes and crews,” said Four Corners executive v-p Vincent Kavanaugh. Charter Cards start at $100,000, with funds sitting in an independent account.

The company’s Freedom program will either purchase a client aircraft and employ its entire aircraft team, and then provides it back to the client as a service, typically for terms of five years with fees charged on a monthly basis. This takes the aircraft off the corporate balance sheet while reserving it for the client’s exclusive use, Kavanaugh said. “Clients really like that.”
