Content Body

Private aircraft co-ownership provider Jet Out announced that it has expanded its operations with the opening of a new base at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (KFLL) and celebrated its grand opening on February 13. This new location is fully operational, with two new Citation CJ4 Gen2 aircraft delivered in September 2024. The Jet Out operation at KFLL is located within the Sheltair FBO and includes a customer lounge, sales office, and line maintenance base.

A local team of aviation professionals was hired by the company. The Fort Lauderdale base currently employs more than 10 pilots, mechanics, and aircraft detailers, with plans to expand the team to 20 within the next year.

This expansion to Florida follows a strong 2024, with Jet Out proclaiming itself to be the fastest-growing of the top 25 light jet fleet operators in 2024. “South Florida is a key part of Jet Out’s growth strategy,” said CEO Joseph Crivello. “Our local-national model ensures our co-owners and clients in the region have access to unparalleled service, performance, and value.”

This is the company’s first move outside the Midwest, bringing its innovative local-national fleet model to the South Florida market. Jet Out has claimed to have the largest fleet of Citation CJ4 Gen2 aircraft in the U.S. In October 2024, Jet Out announced a 12-month co-lease program for its Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2 aircraft, priced from $199,000. According to the company, the program offers 20 travel days with fixed costs and no hidden surcharges.
