Content Body

Magellan Jets has unveiled a fractional ownership program built around the Bombardier Challenger 850 and launched in partnership with Part 135 aircraft operator Slate Aviation. The offering targets private fliers seeking long-range capability, luxury, and predictable pricing.

“Our team is dedicated to delivering seamless, personalized solutions that meet the unique needs of every client,” said Anthony Tivnan, founder and president of Magellan Jets. “The launch of our fractional ownership program is an exciting milestone, offering clients even greater flexibility and peace of mind—all under the trusted Magellan Jets umbrella.”

The program offers 60-hour annual shares with three-year terms, guaranteed repurchase options, supplemental lift, and rollover flexibility. Targeting travelers based in the U.S. Northeast and Southeast., the program includes access to destinations across the U.S., Canada, and Caribbean.

Challenger 850s under the program feature refurbished interiors, seating for up to 19 passengers, and numerous amenities such as gourmet dining, premium refreshments, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Experienced cabin crews are also standard on each flight. “Our joint venture with Magellan Jets perfectly aligns with Slate Aviation’s vision of redefining private travel through innovation, luxury, and unwavering safety standards,” said Slate Aviation co-CEO Heather Maguire.

The asset-light model leverages Magellan Jets’ preferred network and Slate’s operational strength, the companies said. Aircraft deliveries are starting this month, and Magellan is offering shares for immediate purchase.
