During the 2025 Paris Air Show, the Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace (French air and space force) demonstrated the Rafale in flight. The twin engine fighter was developed for the French Air Force and Navy, but has also been purchased by Egypt, Qatar, India, Croatia, and Greece. It has also been ordered by Indonesia and the UAE. Already in service with France’s Air Force and Navy, the aircraft has been developed to handle a variety of roles, including air defense, reconnaissance, close air support, air-to-ground precision strikes, and anti-ship attacks.
