First Flight of Mitsubishi MRJ Airliner Leads to Program Delays

Flight testing of the new Mitsubishi Regional Jet is underway with the Japanese company now aiming for a first delivery deadline that has been pushed back by around 12 months to the second quarter of 2018. The aircraft made its first flight at Nagoya Airport in Japan on November 11 last year, and it has continued flight testing since then.
