Flying at the 2026 Singapore Airshow, the Sarang Helicopter Display Team is the official aerobatic unit of the Indian Air Force (IAF), formally established as the No. 151 Helicopter Unit in 2005. Based at Sulur Air Force Station near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, the team operates five indigenously developed HAL Dhruv (Advanced Light Helicopter) Mk-I aircraft, which are twin-engine, multi-role helicopters. The name "Sarang" is the Sanskrit word for "Peacock," India's national bird, a theme represented by the aircraft’s distinctive bright red and white livery featuring stylized peacock graphics.
