Brazilian private aviation charter operator and fractional ownership group Avantto today placed a provisional order for 100 of Eve Urban Air Mobility Solution’s four-passenger eVTOL aircraft. Under a partnership announced today, the Embraer subsidiary will work with Avantto to develop plans to launch urban air mobility services across Latin America from 2026.

Avantto already operates Embraer’s business jets in its fleet and has a long-standing relationship with the Brazilian manufacturer. The companies said that they plan to jointly work with local community leaders and other stakeholders to establish an ecosystem to support air taxi services.

“For more than a decade, Avantto has developed software, systems and procedures enabling the company to offer 24/7 on-call flight services for short-haul, intra-city helicopter transportation to its hundreds of active members,” said Avantto founder and CEO Rogerio Andrade. “This exclusive know-how will be one of the principal pillars of the urban air mobility ecosystem developed by the Eve/Avantto partnership.”

Eve views Avantto as bringing extensive operational experience to its plans to bring eVTOL commercial services to the Latin American market. “We will work together to make sure we continue to our mission to democratize aviation through increasing accessibility and affordability,” said Andre Stein, president and CEO of Eve.
