Bell has brought its Autonomous Pod Transport eVTOL this week to the 2022 Air Medical Transport Conference in Tampa, Florida. The company has been flying the aircraft for several years and aims for a production version that will deliver 100 pounds, 100 miles, at 100 knots per hour.

An MOU signed on Wednesday during the sixth edition of the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh calls for an eventual purchase of 100 Lilium eVTOL aircraft and the development of seamless feeder connections to Saudi Arabian Airlines hubs.

Hyundai Motor Group's advanced air mobility division Supernal this week appointed two key suppliers for its eVTOL aircraft program. Honeywell Aerospace will supply its new Anthem integrated flight deck for the five-seat vehicle and BAE Systems is developing a fly-by-wire flight control system.
