H2Fly aims to produce the world's first commercial airliner to run on liquefied hydrogen and is preparing to start testing its sixth-generation powertrain in 2023. It says the technology could support a 40-passenger regional airliner on flights of up to around 1,250 miles.

Archer Aviation announced on July 18 that it has formed a partnership with FACC “to fabricate and supply key fuselage and wing elements” for the production version of its eVTOL aircraft. The California-based start-up is developing a fully electric, four-seat eVTOL aircraft with a fixed wing and a tilting propeller system.
