Carbon Emissions Can Be Calculated

Airlines and other aviation bodies can now assess their carbon output using a new online Carbon Emissions Calculator developed by U.S.-based consultants Back Aviation Solutions. Developed in partnership with flight information and data solutions company OAG, the calculator allows users to calculate their carbon footprints by equipment type, airline, airport, route, country or world region. Users can access the calculator using a standard spreadsheet they can easily download from www.backaviation.com.
