Subject Area
Content Body

The second annual Nigerian Business Aviation Conference, to be held in Lagos on March 27-28, is expected to see increased attendance, reflecting the west African country’s position as a hot-spot for industry growth. New topics such as an aircraft owner’s panel and a discussion of the aviation needs of the oil and gas sector have been added to an agenda that already covers topics such as regulator issues and aircraft finance.

“Over the last year the Nigerian economy has gone from strength to strength and is now internationally recognized as a burgeoning world economy,” said Segun Demurn, CEO of business aviation services group Evergreen Apple Nigeria, which is hosting the conference. “Business aviation is essential to support this continued economic growth and this year’s NBAC will further contribute to building a sustainable future for the Nigerian sector.”

The event will include contributions from leading Nigerian officials such as aviation minister Princess Stella Oduah, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria managing director George Uriesi and Nnamdi Udoh, managing director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Authority.

AIN will provide full coverage of the conference online, as well as in its May monthly edition.
