The Nasmyth Group (Hall 4 Stand A7), a UK-based supplier of global engineering services, announced here at the Farnborough Airshow it has amalgamated three of its businesses under the banner of Nasmyth Technologies.
Comprising the former Chinn, Chinn Engineering and Professional Welding Services, the Nasmyth Technologies division will be among the UK’s most advanced, large-scale precision welding, fabrication and assembly manufacturers for sectors including aerospace, defense and industrial gas turbines, according to the Nasmyth Group. Alistair Schofield will lead the new division.
Nasmyth Group chairman and CEO Peter Smith said, “We’re confident that the integration of three of our businesses into Nasmyth Technologies, under the leadership of Alistair, will create a scale of streamlined assembly operations that will bring significant benefits to our customers.”
