Piaggio Aerospace set up a new organizational structure “based on four main pillars,” all reporting to CEO Carlo Logli and each managed by a “highly experienced” C-level executive. While the announcement was made last week, it was not made at EBACE because the Italian aircraft manufacturer did not exhibit at the European business aviation show despite the fact that its new Avanti Evo is certified and entered service last month.

CFO Giulio Di Negro is now in charge of controlling, treasury, administration, the business and restructuring plan and procurement. Chief technical officer Giovanni Bertolone is responsible for technical engineering and the development strategy. COO Eligio Trombetta is focused on the aircraft and engines units, flight operations and common technical service. And chief commercial officer Francescomaria Tuccillo is responsible for sales, marketing and business development, communications and institutional relations and the customer service unit.

“Piaggio Aerospace has a streamlined, focused, cohesive and highly professional leadership team, with complementary accountabilities,” said Logli. “This shared vision is imperative as we enter military and civil markets with brand-new products and intend to become an aeronautical reference for our innovative skills, customer intimacy, reliability and capacity to deliver our promises to all stakeholders.”
