Bell Helicopter has rebranded Edwards Rotorcraft Solutions—its wholly owned South Florida maintenance, repair and overhaul subsidiary—as Bell Helicopter Miami, the Textron subsidiary announced yesterday. The location, an FAA-approved repair station for all Bell models, as well as helicopters from other OEMS, was established in 2007 to provide service and refurbishment for the area’s rotorcraft community, including federal, state, parapublic, emergency medical services, oil-and-gas, offshore and private and corporate customers.
The facility also serves Central and South American customers with on-site scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and can perform work from avionics upgrades to full aircraft rebuilds.
"Officially changing the name reinforces our commitment to provide a facility that offers the industry-leading service and support we're known for worldwide,” said Glenn Isbell, Bell Helicopter’s executive vice president of customer support and services. "The name reflects the strength of the Bell Helicopter brand and the company’s growing presence and capabilities in the region.”
