Making its debut at this year’s EAA AirVenture show is subscription video-on-demand provider AeroCinema. The channel, dedicated to aviation enthusiasts, launched in March, with more than 400 never-before-seen aviation-themed programs including features, documentaries and profiles.
At Oshkosh, it will be screening a new documentary every day of the show at 8:30 a.m. in the SkyScape Theater (with a repeat at 4 p.m.), and in the Quonset hut visitors can see a video showing its brand and explaining pricing plans.
In partnership with Virginia Bader Fine Arts (Booth 1030), the company will also be conducting a prize drawing for a $500 aviation print canvas titled “Release Your Brakes and Hunt For Heaven,” as well as handing out aviation-themed DVDs and offering subscription discounts.
