Permagard reached $30 billion of paint protected assets worldwide with a projected $50 billion increase. The company that has revolutionized coating through its technological advance, protects aeronautical paints and composites exposed to tough conditions.
“I never imagined I’d reach this milestone so quickly,” said Luc d’Argencé, president and CEO of Permagard.
Their product’s primary goal is to reduce the need for maintenance. Engineered with molecular agents that bond to the existing surface, the coating creates a permanent hydrophobic barrier between paint and external elements. It also reduces parasitic drag, which improves aircraft performance.
Permagard has garnered a large customer base from Virgin Airlines, JetBlue, Etihad, New Zealand, and private jets from Lockheed Martin and Exxon. The company’s second safeguarding goal is to reduce the effect of its production on the environment. That includes water usage, product packaging, waste management and energy consumption environmentally efficient solutions.
