Esterline is highlighting two of its advanced capability areas together in a joint display at Singapore 2018 (Stand U88). The company’s Avionics Systems division is showcasing a range of CMC Electronics-branded avionics for helicopters, while a transportable dome simulator from the Esterline Simulation Visual Systems business unit is on show.
For advanced helicopter applications, Esterline has developed a modular and scalable range of new avionics systems and displays. Included are smart multi-function displays, flight management systems, aircraft information servers, GPS and Doppler velocity sensors, and mission computers. Individual systems form a menu from which an integrated solution can be engineered to meet a range of customer requirements. The systems are aimed at both forward-fit and upgrade applications.
Esterline is also showing a Treality TD-522 simulator. This immersive dome system is available with three or five specialized projectors to meet user needs in terms of field of view and resolution. The domes are designed to be transportable in a standard ISO container.
