The Italian Trade Agency pavilion officially opened here at the Dubai Airshow (Stand 1635) with visits from government officials, Italian ambassador to the UAE Nicola Lener, Italian consul general in the UAE Valentina Setta, and Amedeo Scarpa, Italian trade commissioner to the UAE, Oman, and Pakistan.
About 40 Italian companies are participating in the show, nine of which the Italian Trade Agency supports. Its collective pavilion features high-performance aircraft equipment, satellites, radar equipment, space launchers, and complex mechanical and electronic components.
“Our participation in the most important aerospace event in the UAE is a testament to our firm belief that partnership and knowledge sharing are key to thrive in any industry,” said Scarpa. “The UAE aviation sector is a crucial contributor to the country’s growth, currently contributing approximately 15 percent to the UAE’s overall GDP.”
