UAE-based SolitAir has signed up with risk-prevention and medical services provider MedAire to support its expanding operations in the Middle East and beyond. Through the adoption of MedAire’s AI-driven Aviation Security Solution, the dedicated cargo airline aims to strengthen real-time security intelligence for deployment of its Boeing 737-800 and 737-400 freighters from Dubai World Central (DWC) airport.
MedAire’s solution scans more than 1.3 billion open-source data inputs, allowing it to detect disruptive events worldwide within minutes of occurrence. Combined with human oversight and expertise, the resulting 24/7 intelligence “ensures operators like SolitAir have the actionable insights they need to maintain operational resilience in an increasingly complex global environment,” said MedAire general manager of international aviation Peter Tuggey.
The company also announced on Monday that it will shortly launch its redesigned alert management platform, offering customizable alert preferences and new filtering capabilities. From December 2025, MedAire hopes this “completely refreshed visual interface” will make sure operational teams “receive only the most relevant intelligence for their specific missions and destinations.”
Users of the enhanced system will be able to access three categories of alerts: aviation, travel medical, and travel security. A new date-range functionality allows alerts to be filtered based on active trip schedules, while automated continuous monitoring enables a watch list for high-traffic routes.
