Aeromed Group has acquired five aerospace and defense suppliers to expand its capabilities in advanced materials, legacy platform sustainment, and international logistics, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based company announced on March 3.
The acquisitions add more than 150 employees and include Hitek Electronic Materials and Hitek-nology Solutions in North Lincolnshire, England; NorcaTec in Garden City, New York; Napco International in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; and Kit Pack in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Hitek Electronic Materials, established in 1985, specializes in electronic materials including EMI and RF shielding, thermal management, and resin and polymer products for aerospace and defense applications in the UK, Europe, and other markets.
Hitek-nology Solutions, founded in 2005, provides corrosion control materials and descaling products for maritime and military markets, with onsite application and support for asset protection and corrosion removal.
NorcaTec, with origins dating to 1946, supplies U.S.-manufactured equipment for naval, armored-vehicle, and aircraft platforms, with a service network supporting foreign military customers and OEMs in more than 60 countries.
Napco International, with more than 100 years in the industry, handles engineering, project management, procurement, and sustainment of U.S.-manufactured military vehicles and systems. The company received the U.S. President’s “E” Star Award for Export Excellence.
Kit Pack, founded in 1960, provides procurement and inventory for the refurbishment of legacy military aircraft and helicopters, including the B-1, B-52, KC-135, F-16, and C-130.
