Denver-based Avtrak, in association with technology partner Advanced Solutions of Littleton, Colo., has entered into an agreement with Gulfstream Aerospace. The agreement stipulates that Avtrak will provide its GlobalNet maintenance management technology to be the foundation for Gulfstream’s new computerized maintenance program, CMP.net. The Web-enabled customer aircraft maintenance-tracking program will replace Gulfstream’s current CMP program.
“We are excited to be selected by Gulfstream to provide its customers with a first-class, industry proven, solution”, said Joe Hertzler, president of Avtrak. “Adding the Gulfstream models pushes GlobalNet’s capability list to more than 100 makes and models, which will allow most flight departments to have all of their aircraft on one simple-to-use service.”
Under the terms of the agreement, Avtrak (www.avtrak.com) will provide its GlobalNet Web-based application and technology to power Gulfstream’s new CMP.net. It will replace the existing mainframe-based CMP with a Web-based program that will allow Gulfstream aircraft owners to access their aircraft maintenance records 24/7 from any computer equipped with a Web browser and an Internet connection.
