FBO opportunity at Arlington

Arlington, Wash., issued a request for proposal (RFP) for two properties at Arlington Municipal Airport. Proposals are due December 4. One parcel is four acres and the other is 2.5 acres. The RFP notes that lease terms of up to 50 years may be available and that initial lease terms for the first five years will be $0.22 per sq ft per year. Leasehold excise taxes of 12.84 percent will be assessed along with a $0.05 per gallon fuel flowage fee. The airport’s longest runway is 5,332 feet long, and currently one FBO, Fliteline Services, provides fuel. Jet-A is currently not available.
