Content Body

Over the last several months, the FAA has redesigned its Web site so that it’s easier to use, better organized, carries more information and introduces several new features. While some of the latest changes were made after Congress asked the Government Accountability Office for improved information sharing by the FAA, the enhancements are useful to anyone who relies on the FAA’s site for important information. One significant improvement is the ability to receive automatic e-mail updates from a few of the many subjects on the site, such as press releases, emergency ADs and FAA congressional testimony. Another heading that has this automatic alerting feature is “Aircraft Certification Draft Documents Open For Comment,” the Web page for proposed advisory circulars, TSOs, aircraft certification draft orders and other notices.
