Hawker 800XP Winglets FAA Certified

Three months after receiving certification for its winglets on the Hawker 800, Aviation Partners has received FAA approval for installing winglets on the Hawker 800XP. According to the Seattle company, winglet-equipped Hawkers “will fly 30 minutes longer, 180 nm farther, 18 knots faster and with a 2,000-foot higher initial cruise altitude compared with a standard Hawker 800.” Winglet installations cost $395,000 for the Hawker 800 and $425,000 for the 800XP.
