Content Body

Denton, Texas, completion center Jet Works Air Center recently opened a new, 12,000-sq-ft paint shop converted from an existing hangar. It’s the company’s first venture into aircraft exterior paint and the shop will hold aircraft as large as the Gulfstream IV.

Jet Works welcomed the first aircraft, a Challenger 604, into the shop on February 11. Jet Works president Trey Bryson said the company is already planning to erect a new and larger paint facility next year. The new shop will consist of both strip-and-prep and paint booths and will accommodate larger business jets. When the new shop is completed, the old one will be converted to exclusive use as a strip-and-prep facility.
