Keystone Helicopter of West Chester, Pa., has expanded its accessories capabilities on both the Rolls-Royce 250 and Honeywell LTS101 turboshaft engines. According to Ralph Kunz, vice president of the MRO, the company has invested more than $500,000 in tooling and test equipment to become a Honeywell-authorized repair and overhaul facility.
The engine services division recently moved into the company’s new heliplex, a rotorcraft services facility in Coatesville, Pa. “Our factory-trained accessories technicians average 20-plus years on the job,” Kunz said. “Their troubleshooting ability is excellent and we’ve made sure they have the tools and training to stay on top of new developments.” Keystone Helicopter is an authorized Rolls-Royce maintenance center for 250-series engines.
