Content Body

Grizzly Mountain Aviation, of Prineville, Ore., has taken delivery of a second Kaman Aerospace K-Max, for use on logging, firefighting and power-line construction. The aircraft is currently supporting a large power-line project in Ontario, Canada, before heading home to the Pacific Northwest.

“The K-Max will significantly increase our capabilities,” said Grizzly Mountain president Mark Stafford. “Our first one has been very reliable, flying some 2,000 hours annually in support of year-round logging operations. This helicopter will help us to expand our business and take on new projects.”
