Jet Aviation Geneva (Switzerland) was named an approved maintenance facility for the Gulfstream II and GIV by the Ministry of Transportation, Civil Aviation Affairs, of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The new approval allows the facility to perform scheduled and unscheduled base and line maintenance, airframe and on-wing engine repairs, avionics modifications, incorporation of service bulletins and defect rectifications on GIIs and GIVs registered in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
“We welcome the opportunity to extend our maintenance services to Gulfstreams registered in Bahrain and recently worked on two such aircraft. A GIV received a
24-month inspection, a wing rib replacement and an engine change, while scheduled inspections were performed on the GII,” said Markus Huber, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation Geneva. The company also announced that Hardy Bütschi was appointed Geneva’s new director of sales maintenance for the European, Middle East and African markets. In his position, Bütschi is responsible for signing new maintenance clients, customer relations and support.
