Four Raytheon Aircraft Services (RAS) technicians and two technicians from Hawker Aircraft Services have completed the training requirements for the FlightSafety International master technician designation.
The program focuses on effective troubleshooting and improved efficiencies for returning aircraft to service and requires 200 hours of intensive maintenance training within a five-year period. Master technician requirements include completing the following four classes: Aircraft Initial Training, Aircraft Update Training, Aircraft Advanced Troubleshooting and Aircraft Operational Maintenance Procedures.
A&P Christopher Muse, who specialized in the Beechcraft King Air 200, is the first RAS employee to earn the master technician award. Jeff Case, an A&P mechanic lead, has been designated a master technician in the Beechcraft King Air 300; and Conrad Arambula, also an A&P, received his master technician designation for the Beechcraft King Air 90. All are with the company’s San Antonio facility.
Travis Sims is the first RAS technician to receive the master technician award
for the Hawker series, including the new Hawker 4000. He is the Indianapolis Service Center supervisor. Eric Eisner and Bryan Wahrmund of Little Rock, Ark., both A&P lead mechanics, also earned master technician designation for the Hawker 800 series.
