São Paulo, Brazil-based Ocean Air has been named an authorized service facility for all Bombardier business jets. The company is offering round-the-clock AOG assistance, maintenance and services at São Paulo’s Congonhas International Airport. Certified for Learjets since 2005, Ocean Air now offers maintenance and service capabilities for all Bombardier Challengers and Globals.
Bombardier also announced at LABACE it is opening a parts depot in Brazil that will be operated by Armazéns Gerais Columbia. Located near Congonhas and Guarhulos International Airports, the facility is fully bonded and can take advantage of hundreds of direct daily flights to rapidly dispatch essential service and AOG parts to customers across South America.
The 3,000-sq-ft facility will house approximately 2,300 individual high-demand parts, totalling more than 75,000 pieces valued at about $7 million.
