Speaking at the first public unveiling of the company’s new Phenom 100 very light jet last month at the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition, Embraer president and CEO Frederico Fleury Curado announced that the Brazilian manufacturer plans to unveil a full-size mockup concept proposal of its next business jet at the NBAA Convention later this month. Curado noted that the showing does not constitute an official launch of the as yet unnamed airplane, which falls into the market segment between Embraer’s Phenom 300 and Legacy 600. Curado did not reveal the name of the firm contracted to build the cabin/cockpit mockup.
