Cirrus SR-22 and soon-to-be Eclipse 500 charter operator ImagineAir, based at Gwinnett County Airport/ Briscoe Field in Georgia, announced the signing of an agreement with RockBridge Capital Partners of Columbus, Ohio, a specialty investment banking firm, to raise $18.2 million for the acquisition of up to 24 aircraft.
The financing will include common equity, senior debt and leasing of the airplanes and the financing of predelivery deposits. ImagineAir, which began operations early this year, plans to add more SR-22s and take delivery of the first of its Eclipse 500 VLJs next year. The operator’s newest SR-22 is being shown at the Cirrus stand on the NBAA Static Display at Fulton County Airport/Brown Field.
