Executive Jet Management Awarded ISO 9001:2000

Executive Jet Management recently earned ISO 9001:2000 certification, making the company one of the few U.S. charter, management and maintenance companies to receive such approval. The ISO 9000 series of standards represents an international consensus on quality-management practices with the objective of ensuring that a company can “consistently achieve customer and regulatory quality requirements,” EJM said. According to John Nelson, EJM director of business systems, there were originally no plans to obtain ISO certification. “The company spent two years implementing a business operating system. Once we realized how it improved our organization, the decision to go after ISO 9001:2000 certification was easy,” Nelson said.
