Elliott builds FBO at DSM

Elliott Aviation is building a new $8 million FBO to replace its existing facility at Des Moines International Airport (DSM). With a new 40-year lease on its airport property, Elliott is planning an FBO terminal of 8,235 sq ft and three new 15,000-sq-ft hangars, each with 3,000 sq ft of office space and 100-foot by 28-foot hangar doors, all to be completed in March. The new FBO’s pilot lounge offers a sleeping room and private customer office. Other amenities include a laundry room and dishwashing capability, lounge with seating for up to 60 people and conference room.
