Garmin G1000 avionics training video offered

Operators who have ordered a Citation Mustang very light jet don’t have to wait for an aircraft or a simulator to familiarize themselves with the aircraft’s avionics, the Garmin G1000 integrated EFIS.

In Sporty’s 37-minute training DVD, Flying the Garmin G1000, author-pilot Richard L. Collins takes viewers for a ride in a G1000-equipped Cessna 182 and shows them how the system operates and its full capabilities flying en route and on instrument approaches.

The Mustang’s G1000 cockpit will feature a single 15-inch flat-panel multifunction display in the center of the instrument panel, flanked by a pair of 10-inch primary flight displays in front of both the pilot and copilot. The G1000 has also been selected as the primary avionics for the HondaJet and the diesel-powered Diamond TwinStar, as well as for several high-performance piston singles.
