Content Body

Million Air Provo has acquired the assets of its only on-field competitor, Advantage Aviation, at Provo (Utah) Municipal Airport (PVU). The acquisition gives Million Air greater fueling capability, additional maintenance capacity and more hangar space. The FBO had recently completed a facility upgrade that included a flight-planning room with WSI weather, a business center with Internet access, private offices, snooze rooms and individual rest areas for pilots, an executive conference room and a large pilot lounge. Leon Christensen, Million Air’s senior v-p, noted that the airport is upgrading its capability, saying, “The city is opening a new FAA control tower at the Provo Airport early this year.” Christensen also cited the new Million Air facility’s link to improving the company’s charter services, with Gulfstreams, Hawkers, Learjets, Citations, Beech King Airs and a Pilatus PC-12 on the certificate.
