The newest FBO at Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Executive Airport (FXE) is Aztec Jet Center, already well known for its charter, sales and management operations. At press time, Aztec planned a New Year’s opening for the FBO segment of its business, located on the northeast quadrant of the airport. The new facility has a passenger lobby and reception area, flight-planning and weather room and a pilot lounge with snooze rooms. Aztec also incorporates maintenance, avionics and paint/interior work.
