Content Body

The two pilots and two passengers escaped serious injury January 7 when Beech Premier I S/N RB26 registered as N390RB, overran 4,049-foot Runway 19 at Herrera International Airport in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and hit two vehicles in a parking lot. The wings separated and the airplane came to rest upside down, but the fuselage remained largely intact and there was no fire, according to investigators.  The twinjet is registered to Caribbean Aviation in Miami and operated by Coturisca, a Dominican republic charter company.
