Content Body

GA Telesis (GAT) has acquired AM Trading and AM Repair of Tucson, Ariz. The component MRO, located in a 65,000-sq-ft facility on Tucson International Airport, supports the repair and manufacture of Bombardier, Airbus, Boeing, Douglas and Embraer components, including hydraulics, waste systems, fire detection, oxygen systems, avionics, NDT and composites.

GAT is in the process of rebranding the company as GA Telesis Component Repair Group Southwest as it becomes integrated into the GA Telesis global commercial aerospace support strategy.

GAT also announced it has established GA Telesis Singapore in that Asian city. The new facility will focus on Eastern Asia and the Indian subcontinent regions. In keeping with the company’s 2006 decision to move its core sales and distribution operations to strategic locations around the world, the Singapore subsidiary will operate as a sales and customer service center and eventually evolve into a fully operational distribution center.
